1st Assistant Director Job in Short Film Project

No Pay with Profit Sharing and/or Deferred Pay Agreement; Reporting to the Director, 1st AD takes on planning, scheduling and handling of all logistics involving pre-production and production; Per Director’s instructions, review shot listings and create shooting schedule for production days, transfer of dailies and file transfer (DP/Camera Dept, Audio Department, and Photographer), details for the shot list, and all file transfer during last day of production to ensure smooth transition from production to post-prodution; Work with the Production Manager to ensure enough copies are made along with storage/memory devices; Create and distribute the Call Sheet; Ensure that shooting remains on schedule by communicating with Director, DP, Camera Department, Sound Recordist/mixer, Set Design and every other department to ensure that enough time is allotted and spent for every shot; Work alongside Script Supervisor to ensure transitions are made appropriate between shots, changing of angles, props, costumes, etc to ensure consistency.
