Commercial Extras for National University Campaign
Job Description
A commercial production is seeking background actors and extras for a non-union advertising campaign for a major university in Austin, Texas. Casting directors are looking for Black babies, children ages 10–13, and adults ages 18–50 of all ethnicities. No previous on-camera experience is required, making this a great opportunity for new and experienced talent alike. Selected participants will appear in commercial scenes promoting educational opportunities and campus life.
Job Responsibilities
Appear as a background extra in a commercial production
Follow direction from the production team while on set
Participate in scheduled filming activities
Maintain professionalism throughout the shoot
Work collaboratively with cast, crew, and fellow performers
Requirements
Black babies
Kids ages 10–13 of any ethnicity
Adults ages 18–50 of any ethnicity
Must be local to the Austin, Texas area
No previous on-camera experience required
Reliable and available for scheduled filming dates
Able to follow on-set direction and instructions
Compensation
$250 for a 12-hour workday
Additional 15% agency fee if represented
Non-union commercial opportunity
Most talent will likely work one filming day
