Position: Acting Director The Acting Director serves as the temporary leader of the childcare center, overseeing daily operations and ensuring a safe, nurturing, and high-quality environment for children, families, and staff. Oversee daily center operations and maintain compliance with all licensing regulations and company policies.Support, coach, and supervise staff to ensure quality performance.Ensure proper staffing levels and child-to-teacher ratios.Communicate regularly with the Executive Director regarding center operations and needs. Maintain positive relationships with families and address concerns professionally.Support enrollment efforts and conduct family tours as needed.Promote effective communication between families and staff. Work is performed in a childcare center setting, both indoors and outdoors, with regular interaction with children, families, and staff.
