About the Role

The company seeks an Acting Director of Continuous Improvement to lead transformative operational projects and enhance efficiency across the organization. This pivotal role involves spearheading continuous improvement initiatives across various departments, conducting thorough evaluations of current processes, and seeking out opportunities for greater efficiency, cost reductions, and improved performance.

This hands-on leadership position will focus on the implementation of Lean methodologies, facilitation of value stream mapping, Kaizen events, and process improvement workshops. The Acting Director will collaborate closely with leadership to devise and execute effective operational strategies, establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and guide cross-functional teams through periods of change management.

Candidates should possess a minimum of 8 years' experience in continuous improvement, operational excellence, or process enhancement. Deep familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and value stream mapping is essential. A successful track record of managing large-scale improvement initiatives and experience collaborating across various functions are crucial. Candidates must demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills, alongside exceptional communication and leadership capabilities.

A Lean Six Sigma certification and experience in manufacturing, operations, or service-oriented environments are highly desirable. The ideal candidate will inspire a culture of continuous improvement and have the expertise to diagnose operational challenges and implement sustainable solutions.
