Acting Instructor - Summer 2026

Through daily monologue work, ensemble scene work, and diverse elective options such as Improvisation, Reader's Theatre, and Audition Technique, students will learn to establish a connection with their audience and showcase their unique charisma. Middle School Actors Workshop - students entering grades 6-8 The Middle School Actors Workshop is a one-week program that helps students develop their acting, creative expression, and public speaking skills in a safe and supportive environment. Ensemble Scene Work is a key element of the workshop, emphasizing collaboration and teamwork to help students develop lifelong skills in communication, teamwork, and creative expression.Instructors provide individualized feedback throughout the workshop, helping students gain a deeper understanding of ensemble acting and valuable skills in communication and collaboration. The California Actors Workshop is seeking an experienced and inspiring acting instructor to join our summer faculty for one or two-week conservatory-style programs for middle-school or high school students. Instructors should also be available and willing to assist the camp director with active supervision, recreational activities, and some administrative tasks.
