This role will play a central role in management and supporting the work of ActUp Theater Arts Academy. This exciting position will be an asset to ActUp Theater! Each track is designed to get the tools that today’s actors need to take the stage! Required Qualifications • Teaching acting principles to students, often in a group setting • Conducting individual readings to perform an assessment of a student’s talent • Creating an adaptable lesson plan based on student levels and ability • Emphasizing skills like enunciation, diction, and dialect development using speech drills, improvisation, explanation, and other voice exercises • Explaining body language and expression, engaging students in character development and personality projection, and helping each student develop a personal style • Experienced in developing and channeling group dynamics for positive learning outcomes. • Serving students, teachers and communities similar to ours.
