Job Description
A new dark comedy staged reading in New York City is seeking actors for two featured roles in a character-driven story set in a rural mountainside community. This non-union production welcomes performers from all backgrounds who connect with the material and are interested in developing new theatrical work.
Job Responsibilities
Participate in a staged reading of a new theatrical production.
Perform scripted dialogue and collaborate with fellow cast members.
Attend rehearsals and scheduled reading sessions.
Bring strong character interpretation and comedic timing to the performance.
Work closely with the creative team to help develop the play.

Strong comedic timing required
Confident, glamorous personality
Strong character development and performance skills preferred

Age range: Late 30s–Early 40s
Strong dramatic and comedic acting abilities
Dry wit and grounded stage presence required
Ability to portray a tough, guarded rural character
