**Overview**: We are seeking a talented Actor to join our Transforming Theatre Ensemble (TTE) team, providing support for various University special events, concerts, sporting events, and outdoor functions. This is a temporary or on-call position, with flexible scheduling and competitive pay rates. **Responsibilities**: • Work at assigned stations in concession stands, preparing and dispensing refreshments • Transport, maintain, and arrange supplies, equipment, and materials • Operate cash drawers and assist with parking enforcement • Act as event ushers and participate in other event-related responsibilities • Perform in brief theatrical sketches, centered on diversity, equity, and inclusion themes • Participate in rehearsals and performances, with varying schedules • *Qualifications**: • Acting experience in theatre or film • Interest in social justice • Strong capacity for line memorization • Ability to take direction and adjust performance • Punctual and reliable • *Benefits**: • Competitive hourly rates: $20.00/hr for rehearsals and memorization, $40.00/hr for performances • Flexible scheduling, with rehearsals and performances held during days, evenings, and weekends • Opportunity to work with a dynamic team promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion • Professional development opportunities in the performing arts
