Responsibilities Include: Person will be light meeting support as per directed by the REWS Senior Event Lead to help manage simple employee and customer meetings that involve external guest escorting, vendor load-in & out; food deliveries, registration desk support, attendee giveaways handouts, coat check, be an onsite POC for the internal client day of for escalations, and event support; supporting 1-3 events onsite, ranging from small team meetings to 400-person receptions—the LA Event Ambassador will take direction from the REWS Event Lead to support live, in person events; simple meeting support as needed on specific event floors to help escalate issues to REWS; the consultant will interface indirectly with internal clients and senior executives to support onsite exceptional experiences, with customer service, and hospitality mindset; the tasks might vary, but ideally someone who likes events, and takes direction with limited oversight. Qualifications (not all are required):· 2-3 years successful event management experience planning customer-centric events, in a fast-paced environment (required); knowledge of catering industry standards, limitations, and best practices; possess strong customer service experience; candidates with some direct events background and are highly personably and service-focused; higher education or equivalent experience required; ability to manage multi projects at a given time w/a high level of expertise and skill with little oversight; solid communicator (written and verbal); and possess stable customer service skills, with the ability to proactively address client's needs; excellent problem-solving skills with ability to creatively negotiate demands; thrive on teamwork and overcoming obstacles.
