Character is a Black man in his 20s. Tenor. Although the world--including Ali's mother--insists on seeing him as a "thug," beneath his seemingly tough exterior is a sensitive and soulful young man with a gentle and generous spirit, who is growing increasingly frustrated with a world that insists on stereotyping him and treating him as a threat. Will also understudy RIQ & Q: Friends of Knuck’s, who grew up in Hell’s Kitchen and can hold their own in the neighborhood, and Ray: Ali’s doorman. A physically imposing presence, but a kind heart.
