Position Summary The Ghost Host must perform nightly tours, presenting macabre stories of Boston's dark history. Eligibility requirements may apply Requirements: Essential Functions Present historically accurate information in an entertaining manner in costume, in a moving trolley on busy streets and outdoors in various weather conditions, several times a work shift, in a loud, audible voice with or without voice amplification to be heard from the front of the trolley to the back of the trolley. Working with scripted material that contains sensitive subject matter. Ability to learn stage directions and memorize historical details provided in a scripted story and relay scripted story in an entertaining manner. Ability to successfully portray historical characters in front of an audience according to a script and stage directions, as well as improvising, if the situation arises.
