A television series is seeking real firefighters currently employed by the Nashville Fire Department for special ability background roles in the Nashville, Tennessee area. Production is looking for authentic firefighters who can bring realism to emergency response scenes while using their professional experience and equipment on camera. No prior acting experience is required, making this an excellent opportunity for first-time performers interested in working on a television production.
Job Responsibilities
Appear as a firefighter in background scenes for a television series
Wear and utilize authentic turnout gear during filming
Follow direction from the production team and assistant directors
Help create realistic emergency response environments
Maintain professionalism throughout the production day
Requirements
Must be a current firefighter with the Nashville Fire Department
Must be local to the Nashville, Tennessee area
Able to provide and wear department turnout gear with identifying markings temporarily covered
Available for a full production day
Comfortable working on camera
No previous acting experience required
Compensation
$175 for 8 hours guaranteed
Overtime paid at time-and-a-half after 8 hours
Potential workday of up to 12+ hours
