Awkwards, the Musical

I’m posting about a project that’s equal parts comedy, heart, and “what did I just watch?” in the best possible way. It’s called Awkwards, the Musical, and here’s the quick hook: When their overly theatrical best friend dies unexpectedly, a mismatched group of awkward friends honors his final wish—to turn their lives into a full-blown musical. We’re making it as a very low-budget, equity-share, streaming-first comedy (think YouTube, maybe more), shot this winter here in the Phoenix area.
