Casting and seeking crew for "Baby Blues" a 15-minute comedy short written to be a submission for the Shreveport Louisiana based Film Prize film festival that will be shot in Shreveport in late April and early May. A mixed race TV star, Kris (25-35 F), does a live one-woman show about learning that she is pregnant, and about her experience returning home to Louisiana to tell her white mother and black father about her pregnancy. The film cuts between her performance and flashbacks of the stories she's telling. The film is a comedy, but will be grounded in reality, and played more realistically rather than theatrically.
