“Big Fish” Musical Needs Actors

About the project:
Big Fish is a fantastical, heartwarming musical that follows the life of Edward Bloom, a traveling salesman whose larger-than-life stories captivate everyone around him—especially his loving wife, Sandra. But their son, Will, about to become a father himself, is determined to uncover the truth behind his father’s epic tales. As Will embarks on a journey to understand the man behind the myth.

AUDITION REQUIREMENTS:
- You must be available for all performances. No conflicts accepted for performance dates or the tech/dress week of opening. No exceptions.
- All roles are open to audition.
- All auditionees must bring sheet music with them and be prepared to sing 16 bars, but no more of a fully memorized musical selection that showcases your vocal range (Please no songs from the show). An accompanist will be provided. A cappella singing, instrumentals on CD, Tape, iPod, MP3 Player or digital recorder will not be allowed.
- Please wear comfortable shoes and clothing as you will be required to learn a dance combo during the audition.
If you are called back, you will be asked to read from the script and sing selections from the show.
Callbacks: April 30.
Performance dates: July 10, 11, 12 & 17, 18, 19, 24, 25 & 26 2026.
Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 PM and Sunday at 2:00 PM.
