Boo Fest Character/ Actor - $15 / HR

Essential Duties And Responsibilities • Interact with children and families inside our family friendly attractions and zones • Transform into a friendly creature with full makeup and costumes • Greet and interact with the public at special park functions • Take on a character role during Boo Fest. • Maintain a friendly character persona and safety at all times • Be playful and friendly with an outgoing personality • Work in an environment as fast-paced as our coasters • Remain in character at all times • Create a family friendly, positive experience for guests of all ages • Wear assigned make-up masks, costumes, prosthetics, and other costuming materials as necessary • Operate a small prop • Listen to direction from attractions leadership • Keep escape routes and work locations clean Skills And Qualifications • Must be at least 15 years of age, by 8/15/2025 • Must be able to stand, walk, kneel, and crouch for extended periods of time • Must be willing to perform in an enclosed costume with limited sightlines • Specific height and weight may be required for proper fit in specific costumes • Must have a good attitude, appearance, and participate as a member of a team • Must be able to cooperate well with other staff • Must be able to comply with Six Flags policy and standards • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including daytime hours, weekends, and holidays • Must be available for rehearsals/training starting in early September • Must be willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions • Must be professional, self-motivated, the ability to multi-task and have an enthusiastic attitude • Must have strong teamwork skills and the ability to work with others
