'Candidates'

Casting and seeking crew for "Candidates," an independent sci-fi drama short film exploring identity, human connection, and the boundaries between virtual and physical reality, with elements of dark comedy. Written and directed by a filmmaker with extensive experience in film, VFX, and virtual production.

Seeking a talented ensemble cast for the finished live-action film, as well as an independent producer interested in helping bring it to the screen. The approach begins with a paid, recorded ensemble performance, directed as a radio play. Production will use this recording to develop the film through editorial experimentation and Unreal Engine previs before principal photography.

Looking for enthusiastic collaborators interested in an ambitious, character-driven independent production, with an emphasis on performance, creative exploration, and thoughtful preparation.
