Renewal Care Partners provide home and companion care services to seniors, people with chronic health conditions, and their families. Our mission is to bring renewed well-being and freedom to people giving and receiving long-term care. • Providing bedside and personal care, such as ambulation and personal hygiene assistance (e.g., dressing, bathing, and grooming) • Assisting clients in getting into and out of bed, automobile, or wheelchair, to lavatory, and up and down stairs • Performing health care related tasks, such as monitoring vital signs and medications, under the direction of relevant health professionals • Providing companionship to seniors and people with chronic health conditions in their homes (e.g., discussing current events, creating artwork, reviewing photo albums) • Planning activities outside the home and accompanying clients to keep clients engaged with the world (e.g., trips to museums, concerts, plays, or the park) • Escorting clients to doctors’ appointment • Reminding clients to take their medications • Assisting clients in preparing meals • Performing light housekeeping, such as dusting, tidying, and laundry All candidates for this position must hold a valid CNA license in the state of Illinois Care Partners also must have high empathy and be patient, flexible, and reliable.
