We are looking to cast four Black female actors (voice-only) for an upcoming documentary that explores how inner-city children in the US are being trafficked and exploited on social media platforms. The actor's performances will later be dubbed over previously recorded material in order to protect the identities of our contributors, so each performance needs to match a specific tone, rhythm and delivery. We are looking for actors aged between 18-25 who can deliver naturalistic performances with emotional range and nuance, while working from verbatim testimony. Actors who are cast will be supplied relevant video materials in advance of their recording so they have adequate rehearsal time with the director.
