Job Description
The upcoming Detroit-based urban drama feature film Sticks is casting several key speaking roles. Casting directors are seeking talented actors for lead and supporting roles in a dramatic story centered around crime, survival, and personal relationships. Local Detroit talent is encouraged to apply, though performers willing to work as local hires will also be considered.
Job Responsibilities
Perform a lead or supporting role in a scripted feature film.
Collaborate with the director and production team throughout filming.
Deliver authentic, emotionally compelling performances.
Attend rehearsals and filming as scheduled.
Requirements
Seeking the following roles:
Officer Reed: Female, late 20s to mid-30s. Strong, smart, and no-nonsense Detroit police officer.
Female Role: Female, late 20s to early 30s. Comfortable portraying a same-sex relationship.
Detective Todd: Male, 30s–40s. Experienced detective with a sharp, street-smart personality.
Detective Rodgers: Male, 30s–40s. Veteran detective who is intelligent and thorough.
Lil Bit: Female, ages 16–20. Strong dramatic actress to portray a young woman battling addiction.
Doe: Male, ages 13–17. Teen navigating life in Detroit; loyal and observant.
Must be able to work as a local hire in Detroit, Michigan if not based locally.
Strong acting ability is preferred for all principal roles.
