Job Description
An NYC short film is seeking a male actor to portray a queer character with a grounded, understated, and masculine presence. Gay and bisexual actors, as well as performers who are comfortable authentically portraying a queer character, are encouraged to apply. The role includes intimate and romantic scenes requiring physical contact on camera.
Job Responsibilities

Portray a queer male character in a narrative short film.
Deliver a grounded, natural, and understated performance.
Perform intimate and romantic scenes involving physical contact.
Collaborate professionally with the director and production team.
Follow creative and on-set direction throughout filming.

Requirements

Male actor.
Gay and bisexual actors, as well as actors comfortable portraying a queer character, are encouraged to apply.
Must be comfortable performing intimate and romantic physical contact on camera.
Must be able to work in New York City.
SAG and non-union performers may apply.

Compensation

Unpaid role.
Production operates under a SAG Micro-Budget Agreement.
