In West Virginia in 1978, Hold Still follows Pat and Phil on their last day before Phil's family secret forces him out of town. What was supposed to be a relaxing day trip through West Virginia slowly unravels into a confrontation that pulls their friendship into uncharted emotional territory as buried truths surface. Hold Still is a grounded short about friendship and learning to hold on to sacred, fleeting moments. This short is a capstone project for the American University Spring 2026 Film and Media Arts program.
