Directors will have ongoing shows, and once you are cast, you simply let them know your availability for specific show dates. Again, you only perform where/when you are available and interested. A weekly rehearsal commitment is required once you are cast. Once you have performed in the shows, weekly rehearsals are not necessary as long as you are performing regularly.
