COMPANY DESCRIPTION The purpose of Guesthouse Pantry is to give you Basics Made Better, so that your cooking can be fully realized. We want to help by bringing those supporting actor in great cooking--stocks, marinades, drizzles, sauces and cremes--that we don't have the time to do. These are the tools of the trade which are made before meal preparation starts and which allow cooking to achieve everything it sets out to be by allowing each ingredient to be its own star. Pantry is designed to bring out the best of what you are making, by making the basics, better. JOB DESCRIPTION -Part time (approximately 20-25 hours/week) -Repeating weekly schedule per lease agreement (likely Wednesday or Thursday afternoons) -Potential to scale up hours with demand, as necessary RESPONSIBILITIES -Prep -Bi-Weekly calls with GM to gauge demand and plan batches -Inventory checks for containers, labels, etc PRODUCTION -Follow recipes strictly for each batch produced -Log all steps in backend system -Fully clean facility after production -Must take proper inventory of finished products and raw materials -Ability to cook, cool, and package products according to set standards -Must communicate production needs to GM before production Storage -Prepare containers by applying labels, per guidelines -Apportion batches into containers -Store containers in appropriate storage locations -Update inventory in backend system -Must maintain and organize storage spaces according to health guidelines -Learn and adhere strictly to all guidelines in the Guesthouse Pantry Standard Operating Procedures -Adhere to all California and San Mateo County COVID-19 guidelines REQUIREMENTS -Experience in commercial kitchens -Experience with processed foods production process -Ability to strictly follow recipes with consistent results -Comfortable being managed remotely -Excellent English communication skills, including use of email, text, phone, and Slack -Computer skills, including use of -Google Docs and proprietary backend system -California Food Manager Certification -Smartphone
