Clinical Actors

The University of Western States is seeking a part-time clinical actor to join their team. As a clinical actor, you will simulate various health conditions and provide students with the opportunity to practice interview and exam skills in a safe learning environment. Key Responsibilities • Memorize scripts and/or watch training videos prior to scheduled work hours • Role-play health problems and remain in character during the history and physical examination • Allow students to perform physical examination or mock treatment procedures You will also be required to utilize checklists to document student performance, provide constructive feedback, and maintain confidentiality of all case materials and student performance information. Requirements • Highly dependable and honor scheduled commitments • Ability to adapt to changes in work environment and scheduling • Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking and understanding English • Above average verbal and written communication skills
