'Come Into My Arms'

Casting actors for "Come Into My Arms," an indie dramedy feature film funded by the Johns Hopkins Saul Zaentz Innovation Fund. The film follows a Filipino-American art archivist, struggling with grief over her abusive mother’s death, who meets a dashing ghost from her homeland. Together, they go on a surreal journey to help her confront her hidden trauma. Through a first-generation Asian American immigrant lens, "Come Into My Arms" examines themes of intergenerational trauma and hybridized identities.
