NYC Young Adults Casting Call for TV Show Development
Job Description
A unique paid consulting opportunity is available for real young adults in New York City to help shape an upcoming coming-of-age television series. The creative team is seeking authentic voices ages 17–23 to share their real-life experiences, language, friendships, family dynamics, and daily lives to inspire the show’s script. Participants selected during the development process may also be considered for supporting roles in the television series.
Job Responsibilities
Share authentic personal experiences and perspectives through a recorded video.
Discuss your lifestyle, relationships, community, and life in New York City.
Contribute real slang, humor, and cultural insights to help shape the script.
Participate in follow-up conversations if invited by the creative team.
Collaborate with the writers during the show’s development process.
Requirements
Ages 17–23.
Must be based in New York City.
Open to individuals from all backgrounds, communities, and households.
Comfortable recording a conversational self-tape discussing personal experiences.
Strong personality and willingness to share authentic stories and perspectives.
Interest in television, storytelling, or creative collaboration is a plus.
