Early 20s. She looks the part: hair done, nails fresh, always put-together enough to pass. She's sharp, reads a room in seconds, laughs loud enough to disarm people, and she knows it. She got into the fast life looking for options and told herself she was in control — she set the terms, she picked the clients. But the control has been slipping and she's only starting to notice. Her list of people she trusts gets shorter every few months. She's always been good at spotting danger, but danger has gotten better at looking harmless, and exhaustion looks a lot like vulnerability to the wrong people.
