Jess is the twin brother of Joan. Early 20s. He is depressed, but has not always been. He often lacks judgment when it comes to people because he trusts too easily and is kind to everyone; however, this is balanced by Joan, who doesn’t truly trust anyone but him. This ultimately leads him to his death because his boss refuses to let it be known that he is a gay man.
