'Death of A Jellyfish'

Casting "Death of A Jellyfish," a Columbia University MFA short film written and directed by Delaney Moore. The film will be shot in three locations over three days and is being produced as part of the first-year Film MFA requirements at Columbia University. Synopsis: A young girl attempts to revive a dead jellyfish through unconventional means, oblivious to the intensifying tension between her parents. On a mundane, sticky summer day, young Aggie finds the gooey corpse of a jellyfish splattered at the end of her family’s dock, and she has a choice to make: does she try to save him or recognize that some things are simply a lost cause. Letting whimsy prevail, she chooses hope.
