At Lakeland Volunteers In Medicine, a free medical clinic, we are able to dispense medications at no cost to our patients through a state-approved dispensary license. This special license allows licensed nurses to serve in a role similar to that of a pharmacist - reviewing, preparing, and dispensing prescriptions under our clinical protocols. We are currently seeking Nurse volunteers to assist in this capacity. You do not need prior pharmacy experience - we'll provide training and support. Volunteer Role Highlights: • Dispense free prescriptions under our clinic's dispensary license • Support patients by ensuring they receive proper instructions and guidance • Collaborate with our clinical team in a compassionate, community-based setting • Flexible shifts available (only four hours a week makes an impact!)
