Educational Assembly Presenter

JOB DESCRIPTION: The Educational Assembly Presenter will be responsible for acting in SYRCL’s River Education assemblies for grades K-6 in Yuba County. The presenter will be responsible for approximately 5-20 school assemblies in the Spring and Fall of 2020. Assemblies will range in size from 50—300 students and will be for students between the ages of 1st to 6th grade. * Memorize the “Great Water Mystery” script and train with SYRCL actor and staff * Present 30+ “Great Water Mystery” assemblies to children in grades K-8 * Set-up and break down of each assembly, including returning all supplies to SYRCL office * Communicating with Assembly Scheduler This position requires occasional lifting of up to 30 pounds and the ability to stand up in front of a large audience for up to one hour at a time.
