We officially opened our doors within the world’s first ** EQUINOX HOTEL**, situated amidst the bustling landmark Hudson Yards development. **STARR RESTAURANTS & EQUINOX** has unveiled a Food & Beverage program – centered around Chef Knall’s health-conscious cuisine – that excites the senses, nourishes the body, and feeds the soul. We are currently seeking **Hosts** with a strong work ethic and values. * Must possess poise and precision * Natural inclination toward warmth and hospitality – gracious * Genuine nature, able to comfortably engage in natural dialogue with guests * Ability and willingness to stand for the entire duration of a shift, up to 8 hours * Detailed attention to the cleanliness of the host area and its surrounding environment and the willingness to do what’s necessary to keep it tidy and debris free * Ability to speak clearly and articulately on the telephone, providing information and answering questions for callers, while focusing on etiquette and conveying a sense of calm * Familiarity & experience operating Open Table or Resy reservations system * 1 – 3 years of experience in a busy NYC NYT 3 – 4 star restaurant as a host or reservationist
