About the project: SYNOPSIS: The Effect is a contemporary drama set within a clinical trial for a new antidepressant. The play examines the boundaries between emotion and chemistry, the ethics of psychiatric medication, the nature of love, and the complexities of mental illness. Dialects: For your initial audition material, feel free to perform in a dialect if it suits a show/role in which you are particularly interested. An Equity Monitor will not be provided.
