Our goal is to create a month long process of writer’s workshops, rehearsals, and a weekend of performances to unite writers, directors, actors, and audience in the community in a celebration of collaboration and artistic development!Playwrights and directors will work closely together throughout this process and support all iterations of the plays presented, and the actors (you) will bring the selected pieces to life.This festival is a fantastic opportunity to get work on its feet, stretch yourself, and to perform in front of a supportive audience, and we encourage actors of all experience levels to submit with us.Forms are due by the end of the day on Friday, May 10th and post-review, an in-person audition workshop will take place on Saturday, May 11 at our studio in Brooklyn, NY.If you have any questions regarding the festival process or the form procedure, please feel free to email us at 938collective@gmail.com.Actor submissions are due by the end of the day on Friday, May 10th.
