Find Me in the Void is a supernatural mystery short (SAG-AFTRA Micro Budget Agreement) with dramedy elements, created as part of the nationally recognized Black Girls Film Camp, an incubator program supporting high school girls in producing original short films. One of ten films selected for the 2025 cohort, this project is written and directed by Denver Humphrey (Teen Director). Find Me in the Void is a dramedy and supernatural mystery that follows Zora, a teen Black girl, who uses astral projection and the support of her childhood best friend to solve her own case. This film explores themes of friendship, survival, and Missing Black girls. Participants in the Black Girls Film Camp receive industry-level support, including production crews, workshops led by award-winning filmmakers and scholars, and full post-production support.
