Full-Time Lecturer – Acting and New Media

The position will help design curriculum and courses to prepare the next generation of cross‑trained theatre practitioners as actors, performers, voiceover artists, editors, content creators, social media film/reel‑makers, and new media producers. We expect this position to be pivotal in the ongoing cross‑disciplinary collaboration and teaching within the theatre core or General Education curriculum as needed. The anticipated workload for this position is the equivalent of a 4‑4 course work with the possibility of course releases for service to the department, college or university and/or for production responsibilities.Required Qualifications A proven knowledge of contemporary acting methodologies and practices such as Stanislavsky, Boal, Meisner, Viewpoints, Luckett Paradigm, SoulWorks, Chekhov, Hagen, among others. An MFA in Theatre Performance, Acting, or Directing (or a terminal degree in a Communications‑related or New Media‑adjacent area). Experience as a performer/actor/director/producer for the stage, camera, microphone, and/or other emergent New Media and content creation platforms.
