Responsibilities: As part of the SCarowinds Terror Team, daily assigned duties vary & may include tasks such as: Scare guests of all ages without touching by using the element of surpriseEntertain guests as a costumed character by bringing to life the personality of the specific character through hand/body movements and strong vocalization where applicableDevelop gestures and movements unique to the character to make our guests scream in terrorWear complete costume, makeup, and/or mask provided as assigned.Maintain a healthy and FUN scare experience for guests and fellow monsters Qualifications: You!People who love helping others and will support the needs of our guests and team members.Good judgement and a commitment to safety.Ability to work and interact with people from diverse backgrounds.Individuals with a passion and excitement about Carowinds.Ability to demonstrate strong vocal tones & basic acting ability.Ability to scream and speak before large groups of people.Ability to maintain a calm demeanor during emotionally charged situations.Ability to wear costumes with masks, and/or heavy make-up.Ability to work in a dark or poorly lit area with special effects and atmospheric fog.Availability to include some weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays.
