Job Title: Scare Actor - Cinema of Horrors Haunted House

Job Description:
Are you a talented and high-energy individual who loves to scare and entertain people? If so, we have the perfect job for you! Cinema of Horrors in Kelso, WA is seeking Scare Actors for their halloween season As a Scare Actor, you will have the opportunity to work in and around the haunted house, creating thrilling and terrifying experiences for our guests. If you enjoy hiding in dark corners, waiting to scare your friends and family, this is the role for you!
Responsibilities:

Perform to the best of your ability to scare and interact with guests in the assigned area.
Work in areas with strobe lights, darkness, enclosed spaces, loud music, and sound effects.
Follow guidance from the performance management team.
Stay in character at all times while facing guests.
Collaborate with Hosts, Escorts, and Supervisors in case of emergencies or issues.
Maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for guests.
Walk, scare, and interact with people as they navigate through your area.
Remain in the assigned area until dismissed by the Supervisor.
Wear the assigned costume, makeup, or mask as scripted for the specific role.
Ensure the proper grooming and maintenance of costumes, makeup, and props.
Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
Assist in training new personnel as required.

Qualifications:

Minimum age requirement: 16 years old.
Ability to work in environments with strobe lights, darkness, enclosed spaces, loud music, and sound effects.
Stamina to be on your feet for 4-5 hours during each show night.
Ability to follow guidance from the performance management team.
Experience wearing costumes, stage makeup, and/or prosthetics for extended periods.
Professional, self-motivated, energetic, and enthusiastic about creating scares.
Strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with others.
Strong work ethic and the ability to multitask.
Enthusiasm for Halloween and a passion for providing exceptional guest experiences.

August 1st | 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM
August 8th | 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM
September 2nd, 3rd & 4th | 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM
