The National Community Reinvestment Coalition (NCRC) is hiring actors for a civil rights investigation project in the Jacksonville, FL metro area! This is part-time, flexible work that pays about $30 per hour. For example, if we believe that a bank is engaging in gender discrimination, we'll hire a man and a woman to go to that bank on the same day, and ask about a particular type of loan. These investigators (or "testers") then report back to us how they were treated. Please be aware that because of grant restrictions, we cannot hire anyone who has worked for a bank or real estate agency within the past twelve months, and we cannot hire anyone who has ever been convicted of a felony, or a crime of dishonesty.
