Storyline: "The Silence Between Us" is a coming-of-age drama about two 14-year-old boys navigating identity, friendship, and first love in Portland, Maine. The proof of concept short film, "Holy Palmer's Kiss," captures a single classroom moment: two boys assigned to perform a "Romeo & Juliet" scene who differ in how much they're willing to let the room see what's actually happening between them.
