This is a non-union proof of concept short film. Short film titled "Holy Palmer's Kiss" to be used as a Proof of concept for a full length feature film titled "The Silence between us." Actors cast in the POC will be strongly considered for the feature, which is in active development.
Storyline: The Silence Between Us is a coming-of-age drama about two 14-year-old boys navigating identity, friendship, and first love in Portland, Maine. The proof of concept short film, "Holy Palmer's Kiss," captures a single classroom moment: two boys assigned to perform a Romeo & Juliet scene who differ in how much they're willing to let the room see what's actually happening between them.
