About DeLaporte Manor: DeLaporte Manor is a new haunted experience from the creators of Escape My Room . Part haunted house, part immersive theater, part escape room, this limited-run experience will run from September 26 through November 8. Location: Escape My Room – New Orleans - 1152 Camp Street, New Orleans, LA 70130 Dates: September rehearsals + Limited Event Run from Sep. 26 - Nov. 8, 2025 Pay: $14.50 / hr About the Role: You bring the haunt to life (and death). Using costumes, makeup, and performance, you will imbue guests in a world of dread and surprise. Duties: Portray spooky, scary, or creepy characters Interact with guests in character while maintaining safety boundaries Wear costumes, masks, makeup, and handle simple props Attend all rehearsals and performances Qualifications: Strong improvisational or theatrical background preferred Must be energetic, reliable, and love Halloween Comfortable with physical movement in in low-light and loud environments Applicant Instructions: Some actors will have more dialogue than others.
