Logline: Two Joan Crawfords tell the story. Mature Joan’s story is told backward from her death in 1977 (age 69) to her Oscar win in 1946 (age 38), while young Joan’s story moves forward in time from 1925 (age 19) to 1946 (age 38). A Hopeful Starlet, Clark Gable, gay movie star William Haines, and MGM founder Louis B Mayer round out the cast.
