About us and the position \\- Shamon Freitas Talent Agency is a 34-year-old full service talent agency, widely considered the best in San Diego. \\- As a super-small business looking for a dynamic addition to round out our tiny, mighty team, we're looking for an amazing new addition to start with us full time on an hourly basis, working closely alongside our lead booking agent to learn the ropes of talent booking. Specifically, the ideal candidate would be promoted to a full time, salaried position as a full-fledged booking agent, with a salary increase and full medical & dental benefits, within 3-6 months after the start date. We are hoping to find someone who is passionate about the entertainment industry, and in representing and serving an amazing roster of professional talent, and who wants to grow with us with years to come. Job duties \\- Administration: answer inbound emails and phone calls, keep and maintain agency records \\- Customer service: maintain and develop great relationships with local casting directors, producers, and end clients, as a representative of Shamon Freitas \\- Assist the lead booker in all bookings-related tasks: creating submissions of talent for clients, processing self-taped auditions, negotiating booking terms, coordinating booking details \\- Assist the lead booker with basic accounting tasks: invoicing, tracking payments Skills + Qualifications \\- Excellent written and verbal communication skills \\- Ability to take direction and initiative \\- Interest in small business growth and the client- facing aspects of business \\- Strong organization and coordination skills, with great attention to detail \\- Fluency in Microsoft Office, video-hosting platforms including Youtube and Vimeo, and basic project management tools including Google Drive and Dropbox \\- Bachelor's degree not necessary, however, a passion for and interest in the entertainment industry and the people who work in it is a must.
