An independent proof-of-concept short film set entirely inside a bar over two overnight shoots.
On the night news breaks that an incoming comet may end life as we know it, a group of strangers and regulars gather inside a neighborhood bar and try to continue as if nothing is changing. Some deny it. Some spiral. Some laugh too loudly. Some quietly begin to say the things they’ve been avoiding for years.
At the center are childhood best friends who have been to war and back, now reunited after distance and time. Inside this single night, they try to mend the layered fractures of a friendship shaped by survival, memory, and everything left unsaid.
As time passes, the bar becomes a pressure chamber of emotion; grief, humor, avoidance, intimacy, and collapse; unfolding through overlapping conversations and private internal worlds.
This is a contained, character-driven piece focused on atmosphere, performance, and emotional texture. The entire film takes place in one bar location.
