Appears to Emily after the death of her sister as a beautiful and elegant, yet manipulative woman. After their meeting, "It" encourages Emily to repress her feelings in order to push through hardship. "It" is a representation of trauma, something that consumes you from within and represses your emotions entirely. Actor should be able to convey feelings of ease and comfort though body language as "It" makes use of numerous manipulation tactics. Actor should then be able to channel emotions through a more negative and outwardly antagonistic way once the manipulation is made clear and Emily shows resistance.
