Ali is a Turkish businessman who built a fortune early through a successful construction company. When his business collapsed in Turkey, he found himself buried in debt. He gathered what little he had left and fled to the US to rebuild. That's when he met Ahmed, who convinced him to open a used car dealership in New Jersey as partners —Ali puts up the money, Ahmed runs the lot.Ali is also in the early stages of dementia. He's determined to turn another business around, but used cars are unfamiliar territory, and his forgetfulness makes every decision harder.
