A Pacific Islander college student and first-generation university attendee who has struggled to navigate educational systems that often failed to understand his cultural values and lived experiences. Growing up in a close-knit Pasifika family, he was taught the importance of community, respect, faith, and collective responsibility. However, as he progressed through school, he often felt invisible within educational spaces that prioritized individual achievement over collective success. Despite his intelligence and determination, Noah faced barriers including limited access to culturally responsive support services, financial challenges, and a lack of Pacific Islander representation among educators and counselors. As academic pressures increased, so did feelings of stress, self-doubt, anxiety, and isolation.
