Transwoman, African-American, 20s-30s. Alexis is the best friend of the lead character. She debriefs with him after each of his dates. She has big sister energy. She cares deeply for her friend but also loves to give him a hard time.
She is a femme-fatale, quick-witted and a bit of a smart-alec.
The actress must have good comedic timing and the ability to switch from tough love to genuine soft care.
This role is not a caricature of women or transwomen. She is the best friend who just so happens to be a transwoman.
Lead role will shoot 1 day between 13-16 Nov. with one rehearsal day based on talent's schedule.
